off page optimization

1. Use Google's Webmaster Tools to get a clear picture of your website

2. Google webmaster tools are a must-have tool that allows you to track traffic sources to your site from both organic results and paid search advertising. By using these tools, you can easily identify where people find you online, how many clicks they receive while on your site, how much time they spend with your content, and what keywords they use to find you. These tools allow you to create a better strategy for future SEO efforts.

3.  Optimize your title tags

4. Your title tag is the first thing visitors read about your post before clicking through to view the rest of your article. Make sure to optimize this area and include relevant keywords throughout. You should avoid using long titles since they might not show up well on mobile devices. Try avoiding numbers if possible and make sure to add your keywords at the end.

5. Optimize your meta description

6. The meta description, or snippet, appears below a page’s heading in search results. This is typically 30 characters or less; however, you may want to write longer descriptions depending on your business model. In order to increase visibility in search engines, focus on including keywords, especially those that appear in your product title. Include any additional information about your product or service here, such as the price.

7. Use of your keywords strategically - if you can incorporate them into your off-page optimization, this will benefit your site tremendously. A good example would be using your keyword phrase in H1's, subtitles, internal links, alt text (images), and descriptions.

8. Linking out your website/blog - This should always be done through relevant websites that are not only popular but high quality. So instead of linking out to a random blog from years ago, try to link out to blogs that are related to your niche and industry. Try to avoid low-quality sites that may get penalized in the future.

9.  Commenting on other sites' content - This is a great way to build authority and trust backlinks. If you're passionate about what you have to say, others will be too! Create compelling comment sections and always reply to comments left by visitors. You can even turn commenting into a social media tool, allowing people to follow along with your conversation.

10.  Forum participation - Participating in forums is a great way to connect with other bloggers and share information. While they may not provide direct traffic, the exposure you gain through participating in these communities is invaluable. Post relevant content, respond to questions, and participate to strengthen your online reputation.

11. Blog commenting - By leaving comments on other blogs, you'll be able to interact directly with the author. Always leave genuine comments that contribute something valuable to the discussion. Make sure you don't just throw spam links or promotions; otherwise your comment will likely be deleted.

12.  Social sharing - Sharing posts across various platforms allows you to reach more readers, providing free traffic for your site. Share articles via Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. This type of promotion helps drive traffic to your site since search engines rank social shares higher than standard backlinks.
